You can defend yourself by striking any of this part (shown above)depending on your position, you can use your head, hand or any object to protect yourself and to inflict damage to the attacker.

Eyes: Gouging, poking, or scratching the attacker’s eyes with your fingers or knuckles would be effective, as you can imagine. Besides causing a lot of pain, this should also make your escape easier by at least temporarily interfering with his vision.

Nose: If the attacker is close in front of you, use the heel of your palm to strike up under his nose; throw the whole weight of your body into the move to cause the most pain and force him to loosen his grip on you. If he’s behind you, you can strike his nose (from the side or front) with your elbow. Either way, aim for the nasal bones.

Neck: The side of the neck is a bigger target, where both the carotid artery and jugular vein are located. You could possibly temporarily stun your attacker with a knife hand strike (all fingers held straight and tightly together, with thumb tucked and slightly bent at the knuckle) at the side of the neck. (For even more injury, you could thrust your elbow into your assailant’s throat while pitching the weight of your body forward.

Solar Plexus(area of sternum): One blow to this area can cause lost breath, this usually will cause pain and very effective to use when both attacker hand on your neck, one full blow can help to weaken the attacker.

Knee: the knee is an ideal self-defense target, vulnerable from every angle and easily kicked without risk of your foot being grabbed. Kick the side of the knee to cause injury or partially incapacitate your attacker. Kicking the front of the knee may cause more injury but is less likely to result in imbalance.

Groin: This is a man weakest area, a medium strike around this area can make him lying on the ground in pain, but to ensure safety, only strike or kick at the groin when you sure his hand will not catch your feet, or not, this also can make end game for you. so how to do it? use your hand, grabbing, twisting or punching around the area.

But always remind yourself to aware of your surrounding, avoiding such confrontation always the best way to be safe, don’t go to the dark alley or any area you know is not safe and no people around but if when such situation occur you can always scream ask for help.

Eastern Mysticism – Jenglot

A jenglot [ˈdʒɛŋlɔt] is a deformed humanoid creature in Indonesian culture and mythology. It is described as looking much like a tiny, living human doll and is sometimes said to have formerly been a human being.

Jenglot ‘keepers’ feed their creature with blood, either animal blood (goat) or human blood. Those who feed the creature with human blood buy it legally from the Indonesian Red Cross. The jenglot is said to not drink the blood directly. The person places the jenglot near the blood, but the jenglot doesn’t even move or touch the blood. It is said that the jenglot will get the nutrients of the blood in their own way. Some say it comes alive and consumes the blood when it is alone.

According to an Indonesian legend, Jenglot was an ascetic who wanted to learn the “Ilmu Bethara Karang” or the way to eternal life. It also said to be a hermit whose worship demons and gain a certain power and ability. They say if a person with great supernatural power meditates in a certain cave, they’ll become jenglot.

But according to recent DNA test done by Indonesia University, the DNA from the Jenglot skin, the DNA their found were similar to human DNA and with the same human Morphology but without any bone inside it.
